A ship's passport, No. 17, but the content of the document has been cut off. Countersigned by Timothy Pickering as Secretary of State and Joseph Whipple as Collector. With a white paper embossed seal at the lower left. Condition: Flattened folds with light toning and foxing. Minor creasing around the seal.
