4pc Herend Hungary Porcelain Footed Cups and Saucers, Rothschild Bird Pattern

The Rothschild Bird pattern design depicts pairs of birds perched on branches surrounded by scattered butterflies and insects. Each piece features a basket-weave molded border known as the ozier pattern and is finished with gilded rims and ornate gilded handles. The underside of each piece bears a printed blue mark consisting of a crown above a shielded crest with vertical and horizontal bars, with the word HUNGARY printed vertically to the right. The cups are further marked with the hand-painted number 734 in blue script, and the saucers bear the hand-painted number 498 in blue script. Two cups and two saucers total.
