4pc Royal Doulton and Beswick Wildlife Themed Ceramic Collection

A collection of wildlife themed ceramic items featuring English translucent china wall hanging plates and a mounted animal figurine. A group of three circular plates includes a black and white transfer printed depiction of a kangaroo with a joey, a polychrome scene showing two rhinoceroses in a landscape, and a scene with three koalas. The koala bear plate features a black printed mark on the reverse under a lion and crown crest reading Made in Royal Doulton England, English Translucent China, Koala Bears, T.C. 1060, and From a photograph by G Grant Thomson ARPS. The group also includes a hand painted earthenware tiger head figurine shown snarling with an open mouth, mounted to an oval wooden wall plaque. The reverse of the plaque bears a green oval adhesive label with gold lettering reading Beswick England and is fitted with a circular brass keyhole hanger.
