VIN No.: 509A 248114
- The 509, presented in 1925, was Fiat’s first utility car, and first to be produced in the Lingotto production plant.
- With the 509, Fiat entered the market for utility cars with an engine capacity of around 1 litre.
- The 509 model was made famous by the cartoon character Gaston Lagaffe who used one in his adventures published in the Corriere dei Piccoli.
- Open bodywork of the Torpedo type – 4 doors, 5 seats.
- In perfect condition, restored (it is believed) in the 1990s. Stopped for a long time.
- Regularly registered with Italian log book. White number plates FI M02xxx dated February 1992, issued following importation from France.
- A milestone in Fiat history, hard to find in this condition.
- Portraited on the magazine La Manovella, december 1993.
