Case: 34mm, 18k , two piece case x screw down case back, #459426 Dial: satin silver with gold applied markers, gold pitched dauphine hands Movement: Movado, 28 jewel, automatic movement, caliber 436, adjusted to temperature and five positions Band: New generic, dark brown, alligator strap with gold plated buckle Signed: dial signed Tiffany & Co, case and movement signed by Movado When Ol' Blue Eyes or Joe E. Lewis want a sandwich in the early morning hours after performing at the Copa and the kitchen is closed what are you going to say.... No? In appreciation of Mr. Duckmans pliability in this matter, Frank and Joe, gifted the Copacabana's kitchen manager Phil Duckman this wonderful Tiffany & Co. timepiece. Mr. Duckman managed the swanky club's kitchen from the late 1950's to approximately 1967 and the watch would have been presented in the early 1960's - a heady time at the Copa when sports figures, gangsters, celebrities and politicians drank, ate and laughed together while enjoying the performances of the top entertainers of the day including: Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Sammy Davis Jr., Louis Prima, Keely Smith and of course, Joe E. Lewis and Frank Sinatra.

Softened corners from use and or polish. Some tool scratches on the edge of the screw down case back. The inscription remains deep and defined. Gold plating has rubbed off the top of the crown. Splendidly aged dial with a consistent freckling which emphasizes the overall vintage look. Well preserved movement. The watch sets and runs and the rotor spins well but the service history is unknown and a service is recommended for everyday use.
