The sapphire's substantial size and rich color make it a striking focal point, exuding an air of elegance and sophistication. Sapphire weight known--purchased from Richard D. Eisman Jewels, appraisal from 2.7.1977., reference 1/1402/R500. Marked with illegible number in shank. Tests platinum and 18k yellow gold. Sapphire is very clean while displays abrasions on facet junctions, small nicks and scratches along with natural inclusions visible with magnification. Diamonds measure 3.00 mm to 3.40 mm diameter. Emeralds measure 3.25 mm diameter and due to their growth conditions in nature and recovery methods, the emeralds contain natural inclusions, with some surface reaching features. *Sizing may disrupt design of shank.
