The carat weight for both the diamonds and the tanzanite is marked on the side of the basket where the tanzanite it mounted. An array of pavilion facets create an exceptional light display, enhancing the tanzanite's natural pleochroism. Upon closer examination a small bruise is noticeable on one crown facet, while a slight fracture near the sizing area on the inner design is also present to the ring.
