The clarity of this gem is defined by feather and cloud inclusions warranting a VS2 clarity call, however, this stone is eye and loupe clean with inclusions being challenging to detect. The girdle of the diamond reveals a collection of mild nicks, one of which has been identified as a chip by GIA, yet remains invisible to the naked eye. Slight abrasions are also present. The ring's shank is composed of 14k white gold, distinguished by a visible separation line where the head and diamond settings transition into platinum. This piece stands as a delectable opportunity to own a highly collectible vintage mine-cut diamond, reflecting a condition considered to be good despite minor contacting and rhodium loss. The ring is completed by a hinged shank that allows for ease of wear. In order to size the ring, the hinged shank would have to be removed.
