C. 1901, The Mills Novelty Co., Chicago, Illinois. This countertop card machine by the Mills Novelty Company is in an original oak cabinet with top casting featuring racing horses. As indicated on the award card, three players can play at once and the played coin is shown in the lower window. CONDITION: This example has a wonderful patina and look, the original cast iron top sign and with original award card. A great working example with original back door and lock with key. Shows moderate wear to the original wood finish which could be enhanced with a good wood polish. A wonderful original example and fresh to market.
