5¢ RARE HYATT BASKETBALL ARCADE GAME

[ translate ]

C. 1915, Hyatt Mfg., Greenfield, Indiana. This is a very rare penny arcade basketball game, manufactured by the Hyatt Co. of Greenfield, Indiana. This two-player game was definitely manufactured prior to the rule change in basketball where the ball possession automatically changes to the other team after a basket. Prior to the 1930s, there was a jump ball after every basket and this dame deploys that practice. Little is known about this game or manufacturer, but here is an opportunity to acquire an all original in fantastic condition. CONDITION: Showing light wear from use and handling, the wood cabinet has a few scuffs, and the hardwood area is a bit faded, but overall this early basketball game is a wonderful example. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 61" x 21" x 32"
