5th C. Korean Silla Pottery Handled Jar

East Asia, Korea, Silla Kingdom, ca. 5th to 6th century CE. A delicate, thin-walled greyware jar, made to be placed into a tomb as an offering. It has a wide body, with a pronounced shoulder, slightly flared mouth, and tall vertical handle. Incised thin lines decorate the widest point of the body. Size: 5" W x 4.05" H (12.7 cm x 10.3 cm)
