Condition Report: Lined canvas. Stretcher bar marks visible at edges. Scattered instances of minor frame abrasion. Yellowing to the varnish layer. Finely patterned craquelure throughout, with some scattered instances of more pronounced cracking. Surface dirt and dust. Scattered small losses throughout. Not examined out of frame due to size.Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Brushy retouching to edges. Strengthening applied to red pigments and to the darkest shadows throughout.
