A Rare One Hundred and Eighty Two-Piece Oreum Flatware Service for Twelve in a Custom Japanese Elm Case, circa 1925 Marks: (sun), (hunting horn), (various) 12-1x4 inches (31.1 cm) (longest, ladle) Oreum is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc invented in France in the 1920s. Due to its rich gold color, it was used in jewelry, small accessories, and tablewares of the time.
