7 Photos John and Elaine Steinbeck - Spain 1954

This collection includes 8 Photos from when John and Elaine Steinbeck travel to Spain in April - May 1954 with a letter a Elaine wrote to her Mother, Libby Anderson, May 7th. Dearest M&A Thought you'd like some snaps pf us taken in Sevilla. We drove here Monday and are having a Marvoudlous time. Everybody and their dog are giving parties for us and we're seeing all our chums. Going to a big Flamenco party tonight -gypsy entertainers, lets go bull fighters, etc. The trip is just fabulous. We know so many more people this time. They cant do enough for us. We leave here in the morning to spend 4 days driving in Northern Spain. We have a wonderful route mapped out for us and will see most of the ancient cities we missed out last trip. We'll cross the French frontier on Wed. and get to Paris by next Saturday. I hate to leave Spain, but its spring and Paris is saying yoo-hoo to me. Sorry its only a note this time - but I must finish packing and get dressed for the dinner party.
