Photographer's Magnum and Vintage Print stamps, mount verso. The Powder Ridge Rock Festival, planned for July 31, August 1, and August 2, 1970, at the Powder Ridge Ski Area in Middlefield, Connecticut, was halted by a court order, preventing the scheduled musical performances. Despite the cancellation, a gathering of 30,000 people converged on the site, only to discover a lack of food, entertainment, sufficient sanitation facilities, and the presence of around seventy individuals selling drugs. Condition Report: In overall very good/excellent condition. There are a few scattered very small indentations and a variation in surface gloss visible in racking light.
