7PC, 19TH/20TH C. ENGLISH TRANSFERWARE GROUPING

English, 19th and 20th century. Seven piece group of ironstone transferware comprising: a set of five graduated doll/toy or miniature chinoiserie platters and a pair of Royal Doulton armorial "Provence" plates with the motto "Utrum Horum Mavis Accipe". The plates with manufacturer's marks, the platters with red pictorial marks. Approx. of the largest, dia. 9.5"; smallest, w. 3.75", d. 2.75".
Condition Report: Firing and glaze imperfections; some crazing; no apparent chips, cracks or restorations when examined under ultraviolet light.
