Grown in the black-lipped Pinctada margaritifera oyster in the remote tropical waters of the eastern South Pacific, these saltwater pearls have been hand selected for their quality. The shine on each pearl, which is called lustre, is excellent.
The baroque pearls have some light natural growth characteristics on the surface that do not detract from the elegance of the necklace.
The necklace is strung by hand with knots between each pearl for safety and is completed with an elegant matching baroque clasp in solid silver.
At 46cm the necklace sits nicely under the collarbone.
