Very Large Moon Man Statuette Set Piece from MTV Video Music Awards. A very large and distinctive "Moon Man" statuette set element printed on sturdy paper and affixed to polyfoam backing and trimmed to shape. This award statuette set piece was one of two that flanked the stage of an early MTV Video Music Awards show, this one being for stage left. Measures 147 in. tall x 65 in. wide x 1 in. deep. The flagpole element is broken with areas for reinforcement on the reverse with screw attachments. Exhibits wear commensurate with its age, construction, and production use, with some surfaces holes, scratches, and other wear, but remains in Good to Very Good condition.
