Very Large Moon Man Statuette Set with "Flag" Piece from MTV Video Music Awards. A very large and distinctive "Moon Man" statuette set element printed on sturdy paper and affixed to polyfoam backing and trimmed to shape. This award statuette set piece was one of two that flanked the stage of an early MTV Video Music Awards show, this one being for stage right, and includes the network's logo displayed as a "flag". Measures 147 in. tall x 65 in. wide x 1 in. deep. The flagpole element is braced on the reverse with reinforced rigid poly sheet and screw attachments and includes the large "flag" logo measuring 36 in. wide x 27 in. tall x 1 in. deep. Exhibits wear commensurate with its age, construction, and production use, with corner wear and surface scratches, but remains in Very Good condition.
