It has two drilled holes in front of each judge's position (for microphone and buzzer attachment) that rests on angular-pointing silver pipes (2"D) (providing room for up-lighting fixtures); and three stainless steel light boxes on its front face each in the shape of an "X" (18.5"H x 24"L x 5.5"D) that are still functioning and light up white with detachable milk-white acrylic faces in silver metal frames and neon tubes inset behind each X and around the perimeter of the desk face that light up blue. This desk was used by celebrity judges David Hasselhoff, Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne, and Piers Morgan on Seasons 3 through Season 5. This U.S. series is based on the British production, Britain's Got Talent (2007- ) as is this desk, which was re-made in the style of the first U.K. desk. Measures 115"L x 28.5"H x 32"D. Together with three plastic spring-loaded buzzer buttons that mount to the judges' desk, which would make (or break!) a contestant's appearance on the show. The red plastic buttons are mounted in black plastic housings. Measure 3.75" x 3.75". Acquired from Fremantle Media. The desk exhibits general wear, scuffs, light scratches, commensurate with age, construction and extensive production use, but remains in very good condition.
