William S. Hart Autograph Letter Signed, Dated 1906. A 7.5" x 7.25" trimmed sheet dated February 24, 1906, thanking a fan for a gift, in part: "A thousand thanks for the ‘Cash Hawkins' cards they are splendid... It was indeed kind of you to consider me worthy... With all good wishes... Wm. S. Hart". The character mentioned was a "mean skunk" part he was playing at the time on stage in a production of The Squaw Man, and the cards mentioned are possibly the photo postcards that were issued with scenes from the play.
