8pc El Palomar Ken Edwards Mexican Stoneware Coffee and Tea Set

A set of Mexican studio stoneware pottery by El Palomar, featuring a light blue-grey pigeon glaze with hand-painted bird and floral decoration in shades of brown, ochre, and sage green. The collection includes a tall cylindrical coffee or chocolate pot, a globular teapot with an overhead handle, a lidded sugar bowl, two graduated pitchers with pinched spouts, a tapered salt shaker, a rectangular tray, and a circular saucer. Each piece is finished with textured ferruginous brown glaze on the rims and handles. The bases of several pieces, including the tray and pots, feature a hand-painted brown mark reading EL PALOMAR MEXICO with the letters KE inside a circle, often accompanied by a small stylized bird silhouette.
