Hugo Demarco studied at the Fine Arts School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while maintaining a special interest in what Europe has been able to produce.
In the 1960s he moved to Paris and exhibited at Denise René's from 1961 to 1994.
In 1967 the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris welcomed him and later the Maeght Foundation dedicated an exhibition to him in Saint Paul de Vence.
The artist created very early on motorized art objects of an experimental nature, a kind of kinetic-inspired wall sculpture.
