9K Rose Gold Mounted Amber Cigarette Holder

Early 20th century cigarette holder featuring a tapered amber body in a translucent reddish-orange hue, fitted with a 9 karat rose gold band at the mount. The gold band is stamped with the maker mark H.P. & S., followed by a series of hallmarks including 9 and .375 for 9 karat gold fineness, a date letter h for circa 1923, and a London leopard head assay office mark. Accompanied by a fitted, hinged presentation case with a textured burgundy exterior and red velvet lining. Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 XRF Precious Metal Analyzer tested.
