The dial is named ‘Tudor’ below the company’s rose emblem and also reads ‘Swiss’.
The case back is marked to the inside ‘Dennison Made in England for Rolex’ with serial numbers of ‘12856’ and ‘701787’.
It is hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham with a date of 1955 and a makers mark of ‘ALD’.
The manual wind 15 rubies movement is named ‘Tudor’ and has a calibre no. of ‘1260’. It is marked ‘Swiss Made’.
The watch comes on a gold plated ‘Speidel’ stretch bracelet.
