With twist sighted barrel, octagonal breech becoming polygonal, foliate engraved breech with white-metal line, foliate scroll engraved tang, signed border engraved flat lock and hammer, figured half-stock with chequered grip (butt with some old repaired worm damage), foliate scroll engraved mounts (butt plate worn) including scroll trigger-guard with pineapple-shaped finial, vacant white-metal escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and original brass-mounted ramrod (steel parts with old pitting, ramrod-pipes replaced), Birmingham proof marks
