With bright curved fullered blade double-edged at the point, the forte on one side etched 'GILL'S WARRANTED', regulation steel stirrup hilt (one langet repaired), lobed rear quillon, knuckle-guard with slot for a sword-knot, rounded pommel and back-piece in one, and expertly replaced wire-bound leather-covered grip, in its steel scabbard (old dents) with two split-rings for suspension (hilt and scabbard with old pitting)
