A 1920's part silver mounted manicure set, etc.

A 1920's part manicure set, including a silver mounted nail buffer, a pair of silver lidded vanity pots, a silver handled nail file and a silver handled cuticle tool, contained within a fitted case (two tools missing), hallmarked G & C Ltd., Birmingham 1922, with a George V silver handled nail clipper and a pair of Edwardian silver handled scissors with flower terminals. Together with a matched cased set of six silver coffee spoons, hallmarked Henry Clifford Davis, five commemorating hallmarks for 1953, the other dated Birmingham 1960, a further cased set of six silver coffee spoons, Birmingham 1950, plus a cased set of six plated pastry forks and a two prong fork. Gross weighable silver 2.7 ozt (85.1 grams). In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The material of the nail buffer is worn, its maker's mark has been overstruck with another - 'R.P?', the various manicure tools have base metal components, there is an impression/space for two tools which are missing, these being another manicure tool and a pair of scissors, the associated nail clipper and pair of scissors do not fit the case properly. The matched set of coffee spoons commemorate hallmarks for 1953 from the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham and London assay offices. Some of the plated forks have partial registration numbers - 734898?. Minor scuffs and wear to the fitted cases. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
