A 1920's silver entrée dish, the plain oval form with applied pie crust rim and repeated border detail to cover and edge of detachable handle. Hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1927. Maximum length 11.75" (30cm), gross weight 40.47 ozt (1259 grams).
Condition Report:
- Of fairly heavy gauge and appears in good overall condition.
- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing to the whole.
- A number of larger and deeper scratched marks to the underside of the base and scuffed contact marks around the rim.
- The cover fits flush to the base.
- Detachable handle with bayonet style closing.
- All parts with matching hallmarks and these all in good order.
- Base also impressed S4173.
