A 1960s 18ct gold diamond and ruby brooch. Designed as a brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby accent flower, to the lightly textured leaves and polished stem. Maker's mark SS. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks for London, 1967. Length 6.3cms. Weight 15.9gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, general slight discolouration and very minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. Pin with slight dents. Diamond bright. Setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Few, minor inclusions. Rubies are a well matched, deep slightly purplish red hue. Few minor nicks and minor abrasion. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
