A 1960s 18ct gold dog brooch. Designed as a textured Dachshund, with circular-shape ruby eye and single-cut diamond collar. Maker's mark BR Ltd. Hallmarks for London, 1967. Length 4.6cms. Weight 9.3gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Small scratches in keeping with general wear. Possible replacement brooch pin. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Diamonds have few, small inclusions.

Ruby is a medium, purplish red hue. Ruby in good to fair condition with small nicks.
