A 1970s emerald, chalcedony and diamond necklace and bracelet.

A set of 1970s emerald, diamond and gem-set jewellery. The collar designed as a carved chrysoprase, suspended from a graduated circular emerald cabochon line with textured surround and brilliant-cut diamond accents, together with matching bracelet. Estimated total diamond weight 2.35cts. Length of necklace 41cms. Length of bracelet 16.5cms. Weight 102.1gms. Purchasing information Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some discolouration to joints, possible repair work. Central chalcedony drop to the necklace is slightly bent to one side. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright.

Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Diamonds with minor to small inclusions under 10x magnification. Emeralds are a medium bluish green hue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

Chalcedony is translucent with a blueish green hue. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
