A 19C. CRICKET STOOL IN OLD PAINT WITH OCHRE STRIPING
The thick, irregular, oval slab top is joined to the four turned legs by wood peg construction. The top is decorated with a central primitive floral spray on dark tobacco brown accented in ochre yellow pin stripe decoration. Circa 1820. Each leg is connected by a single wood peg, the original wood peg with the original paint decoration.
Measures 7.25 x 12 x 9.5 inches.
