A 19th century double-barrelled 32 bore side hammer percussion howdah pistol, with 8 1/2" rifled Damascus barrels, hinged ramrod, simple foliate engraving, white metal pommel with hinged butt trap and chequered walnut grips, overall length 37cm.Condition Report - Please note that this lot is not suitable for our in-house postage service. Left hammer (bottom barrel) will not latch in half cock position but fires from full cock with good spring tension. Grooved rear sight. No obvious proof marks. Minor pitting to barrels (see additional pictures), slight damage to grip around left side of lock (see additional pictures). Hammers sit uneven in closed position (see additional pictures).
