D.A. 45, block-mounted blade-foresight, the frame with sighting groove, replacement cylinder, the butt with two-piece wooden grips (the right grip with M. Service crudely engraved into the wood) and lanyard-loop, the underside stamped U.S. Army Model 1917, No. 123280
