A 9ct gold diamond ribbon bow brooch, c.1965, modelled as a pierced bow ribbon with a textured finish, accented with four old European diamonds, the principal stones approximately 0.50ct each, in faced white rub-over setting with a millegrain edge. London import hallmark 1965. Pin, roller catch and safety chain. 7.81g Principal diamonds assessed as: Colour: G/H/I Clarity: SI2/P1 Condition Report: One of the principal diamonds has a couple of indented naturals on the crown facets. Smaller diamonds approximately 0.20 - 0.25 each with good clarity. The back of the mount shows areas of pitting to the metal. Tarnish to the pin, which can be polished off. The clasp of the safety chain pin is not gold.
