§ A FINE EARLY VICTORIAN 'TENIERS' SILVER TEAPOT
by Edward Farrell, London 1839, chased and applied with tavern scenes in the manner of David Teniers, mythical beast head spout and scroll handle, the hinged cover with a later silver figural finial and standing on four figural feet. 24.5cm wide, 38 troy ounces
With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number KX9FW67X
Very good clear marks on the underside of both the body and the lid. The finial is a replacement by a different sponsor; because of this, there is a revealed fixing hole to the lid. Surface wear commensurate with age. In generally good condition with very good definition.
