Barrel is deeply struck S. Carolina, reading from front of muzzle towards breech. Lock has standard S. North MIDLN CONN markings. Walnut stock is stamped with LS cartouche and PT Judd (owner's initials?). CONDITION: Barrel is clean steel color. Lock is cleaned to steel color. All small parts original. Mounts cleaned to steel color. Stock with some over-varnish. Gun retains what appears to be an original oak ramrod with steel jag. Action could use adjustment. Bore is good. A rare southern state issued US single shot martial pistol. Research on PT Judd may prove rewarding and potentially valuable. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
