Possibly made by John Moll II of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania due the form of the grip and the "arrow" sideplate. The 2 stage barrel is unmarked and has a small brass front sight. The lockplate is unmarked. Plain unengraved brass furniture. Stocked in partially figured maple with a relief molding along the ramrod channel. CONDITION: Barrel retains a dark brown patina with some scattered freckling. Lock has been replaced and is a good professional reconversion, retains a brown patina. Brass has been lacquered. Barrel tang screw and both lock screws are modern replacements. Stock shows an old finish with scattered minor chips and marks from use.
