The Goddess of Mercy finely modelled seated on rockwork with the right leg crossed and right foot resting on the left lap, the serene expression defined by finely-hooded eyes cast downwards under highly-arching brows and thick hair gathered in two simple knots resting on each shoulder, the delicate fingers gently supporting a boy seated on her lap holding a sphere in his right hand. 24cm high (9 1/2in) high.
