of circular section supported on a wide foot, the interior divided into a central flower-shaped section encircled by six radiating sections, the exterior of the cover painted in bold tones of underglaze blue with a central medallion enclosing a pair of birds perched on the branches of a blossoming peony tree growing from behind rockwork, with two further birds in flight above, the sides with four cartouches enclosing pairs of birds on the branches of fruiting and flowering trees, reserved on a diaper ground, the box similarly painted, the base inscribed with a six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle (2)

Condition Report:
The cover with an old polished chip to the rim and a large burst glaze bubble to the top with a dark ring around it. The box with a crack running the height of one of the dividing walls and into the compartment floor, and a U-form crack on the lip exterior. The foot ring covered in a cloth and the interior lip with four small cloth pads. Overall with firing imperfections including iron spots, and with surface scratches.

蓋口沿有一舊小缺經磨，頂部有一大爆釉且旁帶黑圈。盒見一沖從分隔墻上方延伸至內底，且口沿外側有一U形沖。圈足覆有布料且足內貼有四小塊墊足。通體有窰燒瑕疵如鐵斑，表面有刮痕。
