A BLUE AND WHITE 'CARP' DISH AND A BLUE AND WHITE 'MONKEY AND DEER' BOWL
The bowl with a Jiajing six-character mark, both late Ming Dynasty
The dish decorated with a leaping carp above crested waves within a band of scrolling lotus, the base painted with a hare in cobalt blue; the bowl decorated around the exterior with monkeys amongst peach trees, deer and birds amidst flowering trees, the base with a reign mark.
The bowl: 14.2cm (5 5/8in) diam. (2).
