The interior is finely decorated in underglaze blue with a hare surrounded by scrolling vines, the rims similarly decorated and the exterior shows four ruyi-head compositions within circles and further scrolling foliage.
DIAMETER 16 cm
Condition: Very good condition with expected traces of use and wear.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
