A BLUE AND WHITE 'SWATOW' DISH
MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY

the rounded sides rising from a tapering foot to a slightly flaring rim, painted to the interior with floral blooms borne on stylised foliage, the exterior similarly decorated
Diameter 31.1 cm, 12¼ in.

Condition Report:
There are general wear and scratches to the surface overall. Some glaze lines are visible around the well of the interior. The rim has been lightly polished. Some small chips are also visible inside the footrim.
