Length is 218cm on one side and 227cm on the other. Rug does not lie quite flat and might improve with restretching. Pile generally fair, 3mm at highest points in border, with low to knot bars in field, browns oxidised to knot bars and some spot foundation visible. Repaired fold crease on one side, Nice old weave, outermost blue surround removed at lower end and partially removed at top end and teased warp fringes overlocked with running stitch. Unusual field design and very striking borders.
