A BRITISH VICTORIAN INFANTRY SWORD 1822-1897

Brass hilt with decorated back rib and VR Royal Cypher and Queen's Crown on the guard, handle is wrapped with leather and wound with twisted wire, etched blade with Ciphers, crown and floral designs, ricasso bears two triangle star proof marks, metal scabbard with two suspension rings (pitting on the surface).
