This mahogany clock is signed, A. BACHAN, Perth. It has 8 bells which sound on the quarter hour with a choice of 2 melodies. It sounds on the hour with a gong. The spandrels date the clock 1695-1730 - Page 32 GRANDFATHER CLOCKS and their cases by Brian Loomes. The clock is in perfect working order. Beautiful wood inlays, bronze accents.
