With russet swamped octagonal sighted barrel retained by five iron barrel bands embossed with foliage, engraved characteristic lock stamped with small maker's mark, the steel inlaid with a foliate silver panel, wooden three-quarter stock (some damage) with iron mount at the fore-end, 'fish-tail' butt with foliate engraved iron mounts and set with decorative mother-of-pearl panels incised with pigment-filled designs of foliage and birds, each side of the butt at the rear with a cast and chased white-metal boss, engraved iron trigger-guard, two suspension loops, and iron ramrod (some rust patination overall)
