originally Alsace, first half of the 18th century, demountable softwood frame with wedge joints, walnut and walnut root veneer, matte finish, the facing side with twist turned columns and carved applications in the form of angels’ heads, two doors with panels (so-called ‘Bastionsfüllungen’), moulded loose cornice and base, 245 x 230 x 75 cm, the cornice and base with replaced elements from a previous restoration, signs of repair.
