A Belle Époque pearl and diamond garland-style swag necklace, c.1910,
a centrepiece composed of a curved blade edge bar with a central rose cut diamond set bow, with a swag to each side, strung with seed pearls. An old Swiss cut diamond milligrain set to the centre, with an articulated bar below with diamond set laurel leaves. An old European cut diamond and a pear cut diamond, all milligrain set in plain collets. A further matching swag with a diamond and peg set pearl drop, with trace link back chain, pearls untested. All set in silver and backed in gold. Tested as sterling silver and 18ct gold. Centrepiece 80mm long, 45mm drop, 8.82g
